We have moved into the seventies of the twentieth century and we hear talk of agitation and unrest in many parts of the globe with here and there a muffled plea for peace and concord. The question has always been, how shall we build a better world ?

And how to build a better world ?
Well not by chart and plan.
Unless we start to teach the boy,
To be a better man.

We are inclined to pass on the responsibility to others but , unless
we start off with ourselves, we are doomed to failure.

For all our dreams of nobler things
Will meet the same old fate,
Unless we turn to fellowship
And do away with hate.

Can peace ever be achieved ? Every one is searching for it. Much lies between the attempt to achieve peace and the actual result, but we can at least make the effort. Goodwill goes a long way. Let us not wait for trouble to come our way to lead us to sit at round tables and thresh out ways and means of re-establishing peace when its existence is threatened.

God, what a world if men in street and mart ,
Felt that same kinship of the human heart
Which makes them in the face of fire and flood
Rise to the meaning of True Brotherhood.

Let us look forward to the year ahead with courage, manliness, hope and trust in God's Almighty Goodness.
May God bless and keep each one of you in the right good bond of fellowship and unity.
